The Eastern region of the National Nutritional Foods Association (NNFA) is seeking an Executive Director. The Eastern region includes the states of Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Virginia, and is potentially one of the largest NNFA regions in the country.
The Executive Director will oversee membership, member educational programs, and state-level advocacy efforts, and will report to the president of the Board of Directors for the Eastern region. “We are excited to open up this position to build a state-level voice in dietary supplements legislation and to offer educational opportunities for our retail members,” said Jay Jacobowitz, a director on the board who is serving on the Executive Director Search Committee.
“With the volatile politics that affect our industry, we need to be sure we have a voice in our regulatory future,” commented Howard Chasser, president of the board for the Eastern region. The position is full time, and will require some travel. Candidates interested in applying for the Executive Director position should send their resume to Executive Director Search Committee, PO Box 918, Brattleboro, VT 05302.
