SANTA ANA, Calif. (December 15, 2005) — The natural products community will come together in Las Vegas next summer to participate in the National Nutritional Foods Association’s annual trade show and convention—NNFA 2006—July 14-16. Industry professionals from across the country will be able to peruse more than 650 booths showcasing the industry’s best products. The association’s event will again take place at the world-class Sands Expo and Convention Center and The Venetian Resort Hotel on the Las Vegas Strip.
Participants can anticipate a particularly exciting show this year, as 2006 marks the association’s 70th anniversary. Special events to commemorate this milestone will be hosted throughout the show.
"Celebrating 70 years as a successful association is no small feat,” said NNFA Convention Committee Chairman Jodi Drexler Billet. “And we intend to pay special tribute at the show to our many members without whom NNFA could have never achieved what it has.”
In addition, the exhibit floor is already more than 75 percent sold, so attendees can already anticipate an excellent showcase of the hottest new products including dietary supplements, foods and beverages, health and beauty aids, sports nutrition, herbals, organics, homeopathics, pet products, and much more. As with past NNFA trade shows, natural product retailers are invited to walk the show floor free of charge.
NNFA 2006 continues NNFA’s successful weekend show format that offers attendees a more concentrated, profitable, affordable, and convenient experience. The trade show, which has come to be known for its relaxed and convivial atmosphere that encourages networking and relationship building, takes place Saturday and Sunday. Friday’s schedule will include the highly regarded educational conference with some of the industry’s most insightful and provocative speakers. Past conference seminars have focused on key topics such as consumer and product trends, business improvement, new discoveries in nutrition research, and legislative and regulatory developments. Rounding out this year’s seminar line-up are the new Super Sessions to be held Friday afternoon and Sunday morning.
Attendees can enjoy fun events on the show floor such as the 12th Annual People’s Choice Awards blind taste-test competition, live food demonstrations, the scientific poster session, the Product Trend Theater and more. Participants are also invited to attend other events before and after show floor hours such as the popular President’s Reception and NNFA’s annual business meeting, breakfast, and awards ceremony.
