Nordic Naturals Hosts Author and Researcher Dr. Joseph Maroon for Special Omega-3 Lecture at Natural Products Expo East in Baltimore

Watsonville, California (September 18, 2006) Nordic Naturals invites all Natural Products Expo East attendees to a lecture entitled “Omega-3 EFAs – Now We Have the Facts” by Joseph Maroon, MD on Saturday, October 7 from 11 to 12 noon in Room 327 in the Baltimore Convention Center during this year’s Natural Products Expo East Trade Show. Following the lecture, Dr. Maroon will be signing his new book Fish Oil: The Natural Anti-Inflammatory at Nordic Naturals booth #1409 from 12:30 to 2:30 pm. Copies of the book will be available at no charge for the first 200 retailers and all press members. Dr. Maroon is well known for his recent study on the effects of fish oil supplementation for chronic neck and low-back pain published in the April 2006 issue of Surgical Neurology.

Joseph Maroon, MD, is a board-certified neurosurgeon at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, a professor of neurosurgery at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and the team physician of the Pittsburgh Steelers.
