The Asia Pacific Nutraceutical product market is considered an emerging market, and it’s emerging very quickly due to the region’s booming economy and due to the burgeoning interest of its large middle class in health and nutrition.
In recent years, many Asian countries have undergone a transformation in lifestyle, economy and spending habits led by urbanization and more health conscious consumers. Japan dominates the sector, closely followed by China and India.
Meet Samaan Buisson, Asia Pacific sales manager
We are delighted to welcome Samaan Buisson to the NP Nutra family as our newest sales executive. Samaan is uniquely qualified to care for the Asia Pacific region of our International Division due to his extensive personal experience both in the industry and in the region.
For more than five years, Samaan managed his own whole foods supplement company in New Zealand, working in every facet of the industry. From importing to production, from legislation to marketing, he knows what’s involved in getting a product to consumers from the ground up. His unique, healthy products continue to be sold throughout New Zealand. Samaan also managed sales for a large multinational corporation in Asia.
At home, Samaan is an avid surfer and yogi. He is a qualified builder and designer and likes to volunteer his time to working with underprivileged youth, teaching everything from building skills and soccer to swimming and stress relief.
