NSF food safety experts to speak at Global Food Safety Conference

Food safety experts from NSF International will speak at the Global Food Safety Conference in London, a leading industry event hosted by the Consumer Goods Forum attended by more than 700 food safety professionals.

Speakers will discuss the challenges and opportunities involved in sourcing from emerging markets and unveil exciting new development work in creating enduring food safety cultures.

Dan Fone, NSF-CMi Director of Consulting and Advisory Services, will focus on the route to creating behavior-based food safety cultures and a recent project looking at the development of store-based safety interventions with a major UK retailer.

David Edwards, NSF-CMi Founding Director, will explain the behavior-based systems NSF-CMi has developed to help create enduring food safety cultures. In particular, he’ll highlight NSF-CMi’s development of an online assessment tool to identify how the attitudes and aptitudes of the individual may affect food safety outcomes.

Peter Bracher, Managing Director of NSF-CMi Asia-Pacific and Donna Garren, President and General Manager of NSF Davis Fresh, will discuss how to help the supply chain in developing countries implement safe food handling practices.
