Sidney J. Stohs, Ph.D., R.Ph., FACN, CNS, ATS, FASAHP, is Dean Emeritus of Creighton University Medical Center School of Pharmacy and Health Professions. There, he supervised doctoral programs and clinics in pharmacy, physical therapy, and occupational therapy, as well as programs in health services administration and emergency medical services, while maintaining a research laboratory in toxicology and nutrition. In addition, Dr. Stohs was Professor of Pharmacology in the School of Medicine and holder of the Gilbert F. Taffe Endowed Chair in Pharmaceutical Sciences. Dr. Stohs has published extensively, including book chapters, product and ingredient analyses, and close to 400 peer-reviewed articles in scientific and professional journals. He has made more than 500 presentations at scientific and professional meetings. Among his many honors are the Sigma Xi Outstanding Research Award, American Academy of Pharmaceutical Sciences Research Achievement Award, and Mark Bieber Industry Award from the American College of Nutrition.
