Olive Lifesciences scores organic certification

Company will begin with organic turmeric, marigold and sesame.

Olive Lifesciences received organic certification in compliance with the U.S. National Organic Program (NOP) and National Program for Organic Production (NPOP) for processing of herbs and herbal extracts. NPOP is considered equivalent to Council Regulation (EC) No.834/2007 and Swiss Organic Farming Ordinance for plant products originating in India.

Olive Lifesciences will be starting off with organic herbs including turmeric, marigold and sesame. The company will continue to handle nonorganic standardized herbal extracts and specialty ingredients.

“This additional certification is yet another example of our continued investment in science and compliance with regard to regulatory requirements and market trends” said Dr. Shiv, general manager of Olive Lifesciences. “One of our major goals is to take the concept of customer collaboration to a higher level, and our organic certificate is just another way to go the extra mile for our customers."
