Online supplements retailer eNutriments.com set to debut

eNutriments.com looks to make its preliminary debut on March 31st, 2011. The website and company look to offer a variety of vitamins, supplements, sports nutritional products, as well as cosmetics, and organic pet supplements.

eNutriments.com, an online retailer and direct marketer of health and wellness products, looks to make its preliminary debut on March 31st, 2011. The website and company look to offer a variety of vitamins, supplements, sports nutritional products, as well as cosmetics, and organic pet supplements.

At initial launch, the online retail division will boast over 75 brands, with over 5000 products, constraining itself to what they believe to be the top selling items, according to previous sales trends and market research data. The company intends to grow to above 1,000 third-party brands by 2012, and eventually carry over 30,000 SKUs.

The initial brands carried on eNutriments.com, include BSN, Optimum Nutrition, and Muscle Tech, as well as a wide variety of leading health and wellness products. eNutriments.com, will leverage existing revenue streams, including Amazon.com, Google Shopping, and eBay, to raise funding, while the company awaits venture capital and outside investment.

Sceptics have raised concerns regarding eNutriments.com and it’s positioning with regards to some of the leading online retailers, including GNC, BodyBuilding.com, and VitaCost.com. The counter-argument has been that many of the existing retailers, have yet to take advantage of the growing, and ever changing social media landscape.

The overall advertising budget for eNutriments.com remains unknown, but representatives of the company have indicated that majority of the capital will be aimed at search engines like Google, Bing, and Yahoo. A significant portion of the budget is also aimed at leveraging social media, including Facebook and Twitter.

eNutriments.com is also planning to develop partnerships in the upcoming months by attending a number of tradeshows, including the Natural Products Expo, in Anaheim, California. There attendance is aimed at securing wholesale purchase agreements, to help expand their brand and product line.
