Peet’s Coffee & Tea launches blended iced coffee line

Peet’s Coffee & Tea, has introduced a new Light Freddo line of blended iced coffee beverages, available at all its retail locations.

American specialty coffee and tea company, Peet’s Coffee & Tea, has introduced a new Light Freddo line of blended iced coffee beverages, available at all its retail locations.

The company claims that Light Freddos are made-to-order with only the highest-quality ingredients and have 50% fewer calories than its regular Freddo counterparts.

Peet's has combined its rich tasting coffees and teas with ice and natural flavors to create the new creamy blended Freddos.

Peet's research development and quality assurance director Jorg Pedersen said the company did not sacrifice the richness, creaminess and smoothness of its regular Freddos in the process of creating their lighter version.

"Our Light Freddos have the same great taste and delicious coffee flavor that our regular Freddos have, making them the perfect afternoon treat on hot summer days," Pedersen added.

Peet's will continue its summer Freddo Friday tradition throughout the month of July in all retail locations (excluding licensed partners).
