Pharmaca Hires Dan Milovich as Vice President, Pharmacy Operations

New Hire a Commitment to Innovative Growth in Pharmacy Services

BOULDER, Colo., Dec. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Pharmaca Integrative Pharmacy, Inc. ("Pharmaca") has further reinforced its leadership team with the hiring of retail pharmacy veteran, Dan Milovich, R.Ph., as vice president of pharmacy operations. In this role, he will be responsible for directing the Company's effort to grow the pharmacy business from the existing eight-store base to over 100 stores.

Mr. Milovich has over 25 years of pharmacy experience in retail pharmacy and is a licensed pharmacist in Colo., Mich., and Ariz. In his most recent position as Director of Pharmacy Operation at Fry's Food & Drug Stores in Phoenix, a division of Kroger, Mr. Milovich supervised all aspects of pharmacy policies and procedures including quality assurance programs, pharmacy design, workflow, marketing and human resources. As a recipient of grants from Novartis and The Institute of the Advancement of Pharmacy Practice, Mr. Milovich oversaw a research study of hypertensive patients and developed an accredited residency program with the University of Arizona. He also publishes a monthly column for "MD News" and "Arizona Active Senior Guide." Mr. Milovich has a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from The University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Mich.
