Pharmline Purchases PSL System From Scottish Universities Research and Reactor Centre

FLORIDA, NY: Pharmline, Inc. has purchased the Scottish Universities Research and Reactor Centre (SURRC) pulsed photo stimulated luminescence system (PSL) for identification of ingredients that have been treated by gamma irradiation. Numerous requests for U.S., European and Japanese customers for a supply of non-irradiated herbs initiated this development. Personnel from Pharmline's QC department have been trained in Scotland and received hands-on application experience. The company has just completed an exhaustive in-house study to validate the accuracy of the equipment and analytical methodology. The system has been fully integrated into the Pharmline Quality Control SOP, effective March 1, 2004. For further information, contact Pharmline, Inc. at 845-651-4443 or e-mail to [email protected]
