Speaking at the Annual General Meeting of POS Pilot Plant Corp. in Saskatoon, POS President & CEO Robert E. Morgan announced “the corporation’s business has grown 57% over the past 5 years – so there is good cause for celebration”. Since opening in 1977, POS has carried out projects for clients in 37 different countries, and undergone 3 major expansions. Over the same period, the corporation has seen an evolution of its service projects. In the early days POS focused on processing research involving plant protein, oil and starch. Today the facility specializes in extraction, fractionation, purification and modification of high value components from a wide range of bio-based materials.
