Proprietary Nutritionals Introduces CellCharge IP6 + I Natural Protection

BRANTFORD, ON, DEC. 12, 2003—Proprietary Nutritionals, Inc., (PNI), has been granted the license to develop the wholesale ingredient market for the patented formula of IP6 + I (Inositol hexaphosphate plus Inositol), a powerful antioxidant that has shown disease fighting capabilities in a number of research studies. The company will market the product under the name, CellCharge™, because of it's activity at the cellular level.

“IP6 assists in regulating and normalizing a variety of important cell functions,” said Dr. Abulkalam M. Shamsuddin, M.D., Ph.D., the first scientist to conduct experiments on the anti-cancer action of IP6.

In a paper published in the Journal of Nutrition (2003), Shamsuddin said, “Research showed that IP6 could boost natural killer cell activities, act as a potent antioxidant and, most importantly, help to normalize the rate of cell division of uncontrolled or cancerous cells.”

The International Conference on World Cancer will devote an entire day to the presentation of new research on IP6 plus Inositol next summer in Greece.

Inositol hexaphosphate is a derivative of the B vitamin, inositol. It is a natural substance found in whole grain, cereal, legumes, nuts and seeds. It is found in most mammalian cells. “Because it is abundantly present in the regular diet, efficiently absorbed from the gastrointestional tract, and safe, IP6 plus Inositol holds great promise in our strategies for improved health and well-being and demonstrates clinical effectiveness in the prevention and treatment of cancer,” said Shamsuddin.
