Queen's University Receives Funding for Testing of Herbal Remedies

According to a Toronto Star article, Queen's University researchers (Kingston, Ontario) have received $8 million Canadian to test herbal remedies on prostate and bladder disease.

The funding is provided by the NIH's National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine with Kingston as one of ten sites (the only one in Canada) testing a total of 3,000 men and women over a six year period.
