Sabinsa's Manufacturing Facilities Adhere to NSF International's GMP Standards

PISCATAWAY, N.J., April 26, 2006 - Sabinsa Corporation, a manufacturer and supplier of high quality herbal extracts, cosmeceuticals, minerals and specialty fine chemicals, today announced that its manufacturing facilities in India have passed a second comprehensive audit by NSF International to determine adherence to their Good Manufacturing Practices standards. NSF reviewed the facilities' manufacturing processes, sanitation standards, pest control methods, personnel training, product testing practices and standard operating procedures and verified they meet with their stringent GMP criteria. Follow-up audits will be conducted annually to ensure continued compliance.

"Our primary commitment has always been to provide our customers with ingredients of the utmost quality and purity, but we felt it important to voluntarily work directly with an independent third-party to ensure that our manufacturing facilities complied with the highest industry GMP standards," stated Todd Norton, president, Sabinsa Corporation. "As the industry continues to demand more strict quality control regulations, we continue to not only meet, but exceed those demands. Our customers have the added confidence of knowing that several of our ingredients are also NSF certified."
