SCOLR to Sell Supplement Division

According to an article in the Puget Sound Business Journal, SCOLR, formerly known as Nutraceutix Inc., will sell off its dietary supplement manufacturing division for about $2.72 million. This division, responsible in the past for much of the company's revenues, makes pills targeted at intestinal health.

SCOLR will continue to focus on its patented Controlled Delivery Technology (CDT) for drugs.

Steven Moger, chief financial officer and general manager of the supplement division, is reportedly the buyer, and the division will have the ability to use CDT in some of its products.
