'SUPERIOR' Rating Awarded to Nutraceutical Clinical Laboratories International By the American Institute of Baking International

Clinical Laboratories International, Inc. (OTC Pink Sheets: NCCL), a preservative and nutraceutical products company, today announced that its 31,000 square-foot NuPreserv(TM) manufacturing facility has received a "SUPERIOR" rating from the American Institute of Baking International (AIB), the global baking industry's leading food safety auditor.

NCCL earned AIB's highest rating ("SUPERIOR") by receiving a perfect score for its operational methods and personnel practices, and scoring extremely well in the four other categories of the AIB audit. The audit was conducted on January 31, 2003, and was based on the criteria set forth in the "AIB Consolidated Standards for Food Safety."

NuPreserv is NCCL's preservative that extends the shelf life of food products and beverages. NCCL has been supplying NuPreserv to a major bakery over the past year, and currently is doing extensive testing with several domestic and international bakeries to incorporate the preservative into their products. The Company also is targeting the global beverage industry after internal tests demonstrated that NuPreserv keeps beverages fresh without affecting their color, odor or taste.
