TMR tops liquid magnesium category

SPINS reports that TMR owns over 50 percent of the liquid magnesium market in both dollar and unit volume brand share in natural products stores.

Trace Minerals Research (TMR) is the top-selling brand of liquid magnesium products in the natural products channel, according to research data compiled by SPINS, an information research and consulting company that specializes in the natural products industry in the U.S. market.

The data gathered by SPINS shows that TMR owns over 50 percent of the market of liquid magnesium products in both dollar and unit volume brand share in natural products supermarkets across the U.S. over the last 52 weeks ending Nov. 24, 2012. The liquid magnesium products sold by TMR that are included in the data are ConcenTrace® Trace Mineral Drops, Mega-Mag, Ionic Magnesium and Ionic Tonic.

“We were very anxious and excited to receive the SPINS report on liquid magnesium because we figured we had a pretty solid hold on the liquid magnesium part of the market,” said Dave Chambers, national sales manager of TMR. “Now that we have the numbers, we can confidently go forward with the knowledge that we most certainly are the number-one liquid magnesium brand in America.”

TMR’s flagship product ConcenTrace Trace Mineral Drops 8 ounce is the number-one-selling product of the liquid magnesium products in the category. ConcenTrace also currently holds the number-one position in the trace minerals category as the number-one-selling trace mineral supplement. ConcenTrace provides 250 milligrams of magnesium chloride per serving and is a naturally balanced trace mineral complex containing over 72 ionic trace minerals from the Great Salt Lake.
