(HESG), a provider of innovative nutritional products and functional food ingredients derived from natural sources, announced today that Dean Blechman, founding family member of and former Executive Vice President of Sales at Twinlab Corporation, has joined the company's board of advisors. Mr. Blechman signed a two year consulting agreement with Health Sciences Group.

In addition to a key role in the design, development, launch and distribution of hundreds of Twinlab products, Mr. Blechman formerly served as a Director and Board Member of the National Nutritional Foods Association (NNFA) and, in this role, was actively involved in the passage of the 1994 Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act (DSHEA).
