UAS Laboratories introduced a new probiotic sampling program to support retailers at the largest natural products exposition, Expo West in Anaheim on March 9, 2012.

UAS Laboratories, Inc. introduced a new sampling program for retailers on March 9, 2012 at Expo West.  The sample program provides retailers with free product for consumers who are interested in trying DDS® probiotics for maintaining digestive health and healthy immune function.  DDS® Probiotics, introduced in 1979, have a loyal following and are now used by millions of consumers in over 47 countries.  The products continue to set standards for quality and integrity that have been a cornerstone in the growth the probiotics industry now estimated to exceed $30 billion, worldwide. 

Dr. S.K. Dash, the founder and President of UAS Laboratories, Inc., reintroduced probiotics in the US in 1979 when he commercially manufactured and patented Lactobacillus acidophilus DDS®-1.  UAS Laboratories owns the trademark for L. acidophilus DDS®-1, DDS® and other similar marks such as DDS-30, DDS-60, and DDS 100.  Any product advertising the use of DDS®-1 must be reviewed for quality by UAS Laboratories.
