UK Court Victory for Vitamin Companies

According to BBC News, UK Edition, groups opposed to new EU rules on vitamins and supplements have achieved a court victory in the UK, and can now take the case to the EU.

The new rules stipulate that only vitamins and minerals on an approved list can be used and upper dose limits are specified.

According to the article, the judge in the case had been presented with evidence that the directive was 'unlawful and would unfairly affect millions of people, threatening both health and trade" and then ruled that there was "an arguable case" to present to the EU.
