UK Study Suggests Sage Improves Memory

According to an MSNBC story quoting the Alzheimer's Association as the source, British scientists have confirmed that the herb sage can be used to improve memory, a finding which has possible implications for Alzheimer’s treatment.

Scientists at the English universities of Newcastle and Northumbria have found that young adults taking sage oil capsules performed better in word recall tests, confirming centuries-old theories.

In the study, funded by Oxford Natural Products, 44 healthy, young adults were given either the sage oil capsules or placebo.
