Toronto, ON, October 2, 2003—Market-Wise Enterprises, Ltd. of Milton, Ontario has announced that as a result of a recent U.S. District Court decision in Boston, Massachusetts it has preserved exclusive Canadian distribution and marketing rights to Cran-Max®, the only cranberry supplement that is clinically proven to help prevent urinary tract infections (UTIs). The District Court’s decision also upheld Market-Wise’s sole Canadian rights to the entire Bio-Shield® product line produced by Cape Cod Biolab Corporation of Buzzard’s Bay, Massachusetts.
“The ruling will eliminate confusion in the Canadian marketplace and will enable Market-Wise to continue expanding the market for these scientifically proven, health-promoting products,” said Market-Wise’s president Stephen Lukawski.
