USANA Health Sciences, Inc., is partnering with international relief organization Children's Hunger Fund (CHF) to distribute Mother's Day Gift Paks(TM) to low-income mothers in San Antonio. This event is happening in conjunction with CHF's official launch of its ministry efforts in the city.
"USANA is proud to be affiliated with CHF and grateful for the chance to give a gift to some truly deserving mothers," USANA CEO Dave Wentz said. "Projects like these are an opportunity for USANA to make a strong impact on those in need and further our goal to change lives around the world."
USANA and CHF hope to reach approximately 2,500 mothers and their families with the Mother's Day Gift Paks(TM), which will be filled with more than 7,500 products from USANA's Sense skin-care line along with other useful products. The two-week (May 2-16) gift-giving event will take place at churches throughout the greater San Antonio area.
"Everyone at Children's Hunger Fund is excited about the opening of our new distribution center in San Antonio," CHF President Dave Phillips said. "Our Mother's Day distribution will impact families in some of the poorest areas of the city. We are so grateful to have corporate partners like USANA Health Sciences, whose generosity helps make all this possible!"
USANA began its long-standing partnership with CHF eight years ago. In that time, USANA and CHF have worked together to address hunger and give thousands of children around the world daily nourishment and medical care. In total, USANA and its distributors have donated more than $9 million in cash and products to CHF since their partnership began.
