Verdure Sciences, a leading ingredient manufacturer in the dietary supplement industry, is pleased to announce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Registration through NSF International’s Dietary Supplement Certification program.
NSF conducted a full manufacturing audit to verify compliance with GMPs, and will continue to conduct periodic audits at the Verdure facilities to ensure continued conformance. All requirements included in NSF’s GMP Registration Program were met successfully.
GMPs are regulatory requirements that provide guidelines for processes, procedures, and documentation to assure identity, strength, composition, quality, and purity of products. GMPs for the current NSF Dietary Supplements Program, as per 21 CFR § 111, are included in NSF American National Standard 173-Dietary Supplements, and are the only American National Standard for Dietary Supplements.
