Virgo Announces Science at SupplySide Poster Presentations

PHOENIX -- Virgo Publishing announced the inaugural "Science at SupplySide" Poster Presentations will take place at SupplySide East, May 4 to 6, 2005, at the Baltimore Convention Center. The posters will be displayed throughout the show, providing researchers, exhibitors and scientists an opportunity to present new ingredient research, manufacturing technology and new uses for established ingredients in the areas of dietary supplements, functional foods and personal care.

"Posters are an excellent means of exposing show participants to a lot of current research in one location over the length of the show," said Jon Benninger, director of business development at Virgo Publishing. "Virgo has always felt science is a very important aspect of SupplySide and this is another way of incorporating science into the program."

The SupplySide East scientific advisory board will evaluate poster submissions for inclusion based on scientific merit. The application to submit a proposal is available online at The posters will be displayed between the registration area and the exhibit hall at the convention center. Upon acceptance, the professional and academic rate is $295 per poster. The corporate rate of $295 per poster is available for SupplySide East 2005 exhibitors.
