Vital Living's Subsidiary, MAF BioNutritionals, Receives Preferred Vendor Status with the U.S. Air Force; Stealth Bomber Pilots Now Using Vital Living's Energy Bars

PHOENIX--April 24, 2003--Vital Living Inc. (OTCBB: VTLV), the Physician Nutraceutical Company(SM) today announced that its subsidiary, MAF BioNutritionals has received preferred vendor status with the U.S. Air Force and has begun selling its energy bars to Whiteman Air Force Base in Montana.

MAF BioNutritionals was granted "Qualified Vendor" status by US Food Service, the company that provides food products to Whiteman, as a result of the participation of Dr. Phil Maffetone, consultant for Vital Living, in the Fatigue Management Conference that took place at Whiteman Air Force Base in February 2002. The Company's energy bars were reviewed by base personnel responsible for the program and it was decided that based on the nutritional profile and taste of the bars, All Natural Peanut and All Natural Chocolate, the bars would be made available to base personnel in the flight kitchens.

William Coppel, President of Vital Living Inc., stated, "We are very pleased to receive this preferred vendor status by the U.S. Air Force's food service. This status brings additional validation to our superior energy bar products. Since we started shipping in January 2003, orders have been growing each month. We expect to offer these energy bars, along with Boulder Bars to other Air Force bases throughout the U.S. over the next 12 months as Air Force personnel continue to roll out a new nutrition program that was developed at Whiteman Air Force Base which was designed to improve human performance."
