NEW YORK, Nov 21, 2005 (PRIMEZONE via COMTEX) -- Vitasti, Inc. (OTCBB:VITS) (the "Company") is pleased to announce that the acquisition of Windblade Power Corp. ("Windblade"), a Nevada corporation, has been completed. Windblade, a wind farm project, holds a 30-year lease on privately owned land located at the northern tip of Vancouver Island, an area widely recognized as one of the windiest regions in the entire world.
Our world has been powered primarily by carbon fuels for over a century. There has been increased concern about global warming and the harmful effects of fuel emissions which has created new demand for clean and sustainable energy sources -- like wind. In many countries around the globe, the energy market is also being driven by a dual new dynamic: deregulation and privatization. The market for environmentally superior, or "green", resources is forecast to expand at an even greater pace. In the last 10 years wind has become the fastest growing energy source, gaining more and more acceptance, interest and use on an international level.
The growing global demand for power is astounding. Over the next 25 years, the growing energy needs globally will require the construction of more electrical generating capacity than was built in the previous 100 years. Carbon power combustion is the number one cause of increased atmospheric levels of carbon dioxide, and the leading cause of global warming. For this reason, increased demand for new energy sources is fueling a growing concern over the well-being of our planet. Windblade 's goal is position itself to become the leader in Canada for 'green' energy.
Vitasti will remain focused on its nutraceutical lines and believes that Windblade fits into the business model of well-being and healthy alternative projects.
