Western Canadian Functional Food and Wellness West present Julian Mellentin, editor of New Nutrition Business, speaking about key trends in functional food development.

Julian Mellentin is one of the world’s very few international specialists in the business of food, nutrition and health. He is co-author of Functional Foods Revolution, Healthy People, Healthy Profits? the first-ever book on the business of functional foods, now translated into Japanese. He is also co-author with Peter Wennström of Commercialising Innovation: The Food & Health Marketing Handbook, which will be going into a second Edition in 2008.

New Nutrition Business is the only company outside Japan dedicated solely to researching, analysing and forecasting the global nutrition business. NNB has been in operation since 1995, providing expert consultancy to companies large and small around the world. The company has offices in London and New Zealand and affiliates in Japan and Finland.
