XanGo, LLC Announces New Hire and Promotions

LEHI, UT—February 9, 2006— XanGo, LLC, creator of the mangosteen beverage category is pleased to announce the following new hire and promotions.


Scott Smith has joined XanGo as vice president of information technology. Smith will identify technology and implement new systems. Prior to joining XanGo, he worked for a software solutions company and a business strategy-consulting firm. Scott received his master’s of business administration degree from Brigham Young University.


Sean Poynter has been promoted to vice president of business development and acting chief operating officer of XanGo Japan. Poynter will oversee operations from product demand, quality technology solutions, and finance and accounting needs as the Japan market undergoes future development. He received his master’s degree in accounting from Brigham Young University.
Justin Banner has been promoted to director of strategic planning. Banner will direct a team to create and execute corporate strategic direction. He has several years experience in marketing, market analysis and market research positions. He received his master’s of business administration degree from Purdue University.

Riley Schaugaard has been promoted to director of communications. Schaugaard is responsible for marketing communications, advertising and sponsorships. He has over eight years experience in the direct sales industry. He received his master’s of business administration degree from Utah State University.
