ZMC to launch reduced form of CoQ10

ZMC has developed an exclusive IP process unique from any other previous process for manufacturing this ingredient.

Zhejiang Sci-Tech Report, a publication located in Hangzhu, Zhejiang province, China, recently reported Zhejiang Medicine Co. (ZMC) has announced its intention to launch a reduced form of CoQ10. ZMC has stated it has developed an exclusive IP process unique from any other previous process for manufacturing this ingredient. The launch date for the new product is estimated to be in 2013 after completion of the new ZMC production site. No other details were provided but, historically, ZMC’s entrance into the market provides competitive price expectations.

It has been widely reported reduced CoQ10 provides greater bioavailability than the more common oxidized CoQ10. It has been stated the reduced CoQ10 is recommended for patients whose condition requires larger doses of CoQ10.
