Wild Oats Markets to Launch Custom Consumer Magazine

BOULDER, Colo., Jan 03, 2007 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Wild Oats Markets, Inc. (OATS) , a leading national natural and organic foods retailer, today announced the launch of Wild Oats Magazine with publishing partner Active Interest Media, Inc. (AIM). The magazine, geared towards consumers and their interests, is a free publication and is available now in Wild Oats Marketplace stores. Wild Oats Magazine will be published bi-monthly on 100 percent post-consumer recycled paper, with the January/February 2007 issue as its premiere edition.

Designed specifically for customers, Wild Oats Magazine will be filled with in-depth information on topics that are important to Wild Oats shoppers including: health and wellness, food trends, the environment, locally grown foods, social responsibility and more. Wild Oats Magazine will educate consumers on how to live healthy and happy lives by making small, everyday changes in diet and lifestyle. The magazine will also showcase the best natural, organic and gourmet foods as well as delicious, healthy recipes.
