Is fish oil essential to you?

Ever since my kids, now 8 and 10, were wee things, I’ve given them fish oil—liquids, chewable soft gels, gummies—mostly to support brain development, but also for healthy skin and overall nutritional wellness.

Why is fish oil essential to you?

Go to Delicious Living’s Facebook page and answer this question for a chance to win your favorite Nordic Naturals fish oil product and a great T-shirt. The deadline for entries is February 29.

Also, take a moment to visit Nordic Natural’s Facebook page, or to enter their national “What’s Essential” contest. The grand prize winner will win an all-inclusive trip for two to California.

Here’s the deal: We want to know what matters most in your life. So we’ve designed the What’s Essential contest that will run from January to April 2012 with prizes to get you motivated and musing! What’s Essential to you? Is it spending time with friends and family? Is it hanging with your pet? Finishing a marathon this year, or perhaps running a mile every day? Share your What’s Essential story, and enter to win!

It’s simple to enter.

1. Like us on Facebook or visit
2. Submit your What’s Essential story and accompanying image
3. Tell your friends, and their friends, to share their What’s Essential story too!
