How green are your aprons?

Look around your store. Do you see energy-saving lighting? Technologically advanced cooling systems? What about solar panels? All of these can be extremely important to get your stores message of sustainability across. Just don't forget to don your employees with the latest in eco-friendly gear.

You don't want your message to stop at one of the most prominent parts of your store. Employees are the energy behind your message and can speak to customers about everything you may be trying to do to better their health and better the earth. Why would you go natural in your freezer section but not the employee break room? It just makes sense.

There are tons of options to look at when deciding on a eco-friendly uniform place. Think about what you ask your employees to wear. If they have full uniforms of shirt, pants, and shoes, then you can get as organic as they come. If you only have a name badge for them, then make sure it's bamboo or made from recycled materials. Don't let your message of healthy sustainability stop at the building itself.
