Do you have a favorite chocolate? I'm still partial to Scharffen Berger (especially the 72% dark), Green & Blacks (gotta have the Maya Gold), and Chocolove (chilies, cherries, and dark chocolate -- wow). All of these makers use fair-trade practices and organic ingredients. And I have to add a mention of the absolutely stunning and delicious chocolates from Charles Chocolates, an artisan confectionary in Emeryville, Calif. Made with organic cream and butter, these are the prettiest indulgences I've seen in a long time; and you can even eat the chocolate box they come in.
