Video: Hurricane Irene hit small farmers hardest

The flooding associated with Hurricane Irene caused a disruption to the local food supply chain in the Northeastern U.S.

Four months later, natural grocers and co-ops that rely on small farms for local and organic food continue to have problems with sourcing and higher costs. 

I knew that many of these small farms were hit hard by the hurricane. But this video by Food Curated about David and Denise Lloyd of Maple Downs Farm really goes behind the headlines.
