NBJ: What changes have you seen, or do you predict, since the E.U. food supplements directive came into law in 2005?
DA: There have been no changes of significance solely because the HFMA and other organizations campaigned successfully to achieve a change in the attitude of U.K. authorities and government to the extent that the Food Standards agency co-funded work on dossiers for specialist supplement ingredients, resulting in derogation for the most important ingredients
