Puer tea: China's ancient beverage makes a comeback

World renowned tea-pioneer David Lee Hoffman describes why puer, an ancient tea from China, is finally gaining the attention of health-conscious American consumers. Natural Foods Merchandiser's Kelsey Blackwell attends the 2011 Rocky Mountain Tea Festival in Boulder, Colo., to find out the scoop about puer. The tea originally wasn't allowed in the United States because of its distinctive musty smell. Puer is the only tea that is intentionally aged and, like wine, gets better with time.
