When it feels like the world might be crumbling around us, nothing quite invokes the comfort and calm of happier times than the warm and enveloping aromas of pumpkin spice. In fact, there is comfort in just knowing that even amid all the chaos consumers are still looking forward to the annual arrival of the Pumpkin Spiced Latte and all of the pumpkin-happy hullabaloo that comes along with it.

Though it remains to be seen whether or not this year’s market for everything pumpkin spice will continue on the upward trend that saw it grow by 4.7% for the year ending August 25, 2019, reaching more than a half billion dollars in sales according to Nielsen, if Americans were ever in need of the comforting aromas and flavors of this beloved spice mix, it's now.

And consumers don’t need to pop into their favorite coffee shops to enjoy these spiced beverages. According to 2019 data from Forbes and Nielsen Retail Measurement Service, liquid coffee creamers accounted for $54.3 million slice of the total pumpkin spice category pie in 2019. This fact will serve consumers particularly well this year as many continue to work from home and brew their own joe. In the natural channel as defined by SPINS, sales of shelf stable coffee and cocoa had a whopping year-over-year growth of 27.3% in the four weeks ending June 14, 2020.

Of course, not all pumpkin-themed products serve to fuel our caffeine addictions. And while there are those products that rely solely on the classic blend of cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, cloves and allspice that we associate so strongly with this winter squash, this year's generation of pumpkin spice flavored natural products seem to contain more real pumpkin than years past.

The following gallery features a wide range of the pumpkin-ful or pumpkin spice-inspired natural products that we can look forward to this fall, including some brand new ones and some returning seasonal favorites.
