Delicious Living magazine and iVillage gave answering the age-old question “what do women want?” their best shot by polling 4,900 consumers—90 percent of them women—on everything from how they define “healthy” to their favorite brands. What they found may surprise you.

67 percent believe natural foods are better for them than organic

37 percent say they are "confused by all the nutritional information that is available today"

73 percent say they "read labels carefully"

35 percent of regular natural products store shoppers agree with the statement "when it comes to food, I am primarily concerned with price"

50 percent of those who purchase organic products say they are more likely to shop in natural product stores
