This study focused on characterization of toxicological properties of Turmacin using standard mutagenicity, clastogenicity and acute oral toxicity tests. Turmacin did not show any toxic effects to Wistar rats when tested at the maximum testable dose of 5 grams/kg body weight. “Turmacin standardized to bio active polysaccharides is our answer to those who are looking for a herbal alternative for joint health management,” said Dr. Deepak Mundkinajeddu, head of research and development at Natural Remedies. He also thanked his fellow research colleagues for developing this wonderful product.
