National Enzyme Co. announced the recipients of its 2014 Vendor Excellence Awards at its annual meeting, held at the end of July.

"NEC recognizes its vendors as valuable assets in our commitment to quality and excellence," said Chief Operating Officer Charlie Amidon. "We appreciate their dedication and time spent meeting and exceeding our business needs."

DuPont Nutrition & Health was the ceremony's top honoree, receiving the distinguished Vendor of the Year award. Mike Derrington, DuPont Nutrition & Health's senior director for dietary supplements, pharma and sports nutrition, said the award was an honor, stating that, "We realize that NEC has very strict criteria and has several vendors who do an excellent job of providing value. We are very pleased we were named at the top for the past 12 months."
