Consumers look to their doctors to be partners in health and help them with their goals of living a healthy life, which for more than seven and 10 Americans, includes using supplements.
The good news is, more supplement users over age 55 indicated in a 2016 CRN survey that they let their physician know what supplements they're taking. And, the practitioner channel is emerging as one of great promise for the supplements industry. More than half of supplement users identify doctors as a trusted source for information on supplements.Â
