Experts from New Hope Network and the market research firm SPINS have compiled and analyzed boatloads of data to help retailers navigate—and brands evaluate—the trade show floor at Natural Products Expo West beginning March 8. New Hope expects 3,000 brands, including 800 first-time exhibitors, to exhibit at the trade show.
They used information from New Hope's 2022 Trends & Innovations Special Report, which is for sale here, a nationwide survey, social media activity and NEXT's prioritization tool to determine what trends are most important to consumers, provide insights on six product categories and showcase outstanding natural products that exemplify the trends.
Included in this deck are graphics that illustrate what types of products consumers are likely to purchase and how well those categories are expected to sell; comparisons of category growth among conventional, specialty and wellness, and natural products; and photographs of products—as well as their booth numbers at Expo West—so attendees have an idea of what to look for. Those products that are NEXTY Awards finalists are designated, as well.
