Pharmachem acquires Powder Processors

Pharmachem Laboratories Inc. announced it has acquired Powder Processors Inc., Ogden, Utah, a manufacturer of a wide range of nutritional ingredient powders including tablet and capsule-ready blends.

According to David Holmes, founder and CEO of Pharmachem, “Our purchase of Powder Processors complements our overall business in particle engineering, now with an even stronger presence supporting the western U.S. and Canada. Furthermore, this acquisition along with Pharmachem’s already strong presence in Utah, with liquids and personal care manufacturing, continues to demonstrate Pharmachem’s commitment to Utah and its customer base worldwide."

Pharmachem will operate both this newly acquired entity and its liquid and personal care manufacturing facilities under the Pharmachem Laboratories name effective, immediately. 

Holmes also said, “Pharmachem is currently in the process of installing new capabilities in Utah, including: powder filling into unit containers such as jars and bottles, and soft containers such as bag, pouch and gusset.

“Lynn Dahle, former owner of Powder Processors, will serve as vice president to ensure the future success of the newly acquired entity,” he added,

Dahle said, “We are very excited to have found a partner like Pharmachem. Their commitment to the industry and their customers is second to none.  We are confident that this acquisition will allow us to grow and build an even stronger business with current and future customers.”
