Meat dominates restaurant menus. A new project called Menus of Change, led by the Culinary Institute of America and the Harvard T.H. GMO rules in Hawaii head back to U.S. appeals court

Big agriculture companies sued three counties in Hawaii over proposed bans on genetically modified crops. Federal courts ruled in favor of the businesses, but the counties—and environmental groups—appealed.  The counties argue that they have the authority to protect their residents, but the companies argue it’s the state of Hawaii’s job to regulate pesticides and GE plants. Organic acreage ascending
