Products ranging from meat-based protein bars to uniquely flavored Greek yogurt prioritized sourcing from animals who ate only grass instead of grain. The appeal? In addition to alleviating fears of GMO feed, “grass-fed” connotes that animals were raised on pasture rather than feedlots.
