How the Hip Hop Caucus tells a new story of climate action

What does it take to truly fight climate change? Rev. Lennox Yearwood Jr. and the Hip Hop Caucus are making noise about making change—in all the right ways.

Rev. Lennox Yearwood Jr., president and CEO of the Hip Hop Caucus, knows that climate justice is racial justice, and racial justice is climate justice. For the Hip Hop Caucus, tackling the climate crisis is about telling the story in a new way, highlighting new voices and breaking down old barriers to entering the conversation. All people need to join the fight: Black, brown, red, white, male, female, gay and straight in order to solve the problem, and the Hip Hop Caucus is committed to changing the conversation, one thought-provoking lyric at a time.
