Anaheim Convention Center could handle expanded Expo West trade show

Natural Products Expo West can grow even larger now that the Anaheim (Calif.) City Council has approved expansion plans for the convention center that has housed the natural products industry's largest trade show for 34 years.

The official vote happened Tuesday night on the heels of Natural Products Expo West's record-setting event March 6-9. The trade show featured more than 2,600 exhibitors and 67,000 people for 5 percent growth over 2013's gathering.

"Anaheim continues to grow to meet the needs of Natural Products Expo West," said Adam Andersen, group show director of New Hope Natural Media's Natural Products Expos. "The city, visitors bureau and all of our partners there continue to raise the bar for quality and excellence."
