Women in Naturals

Saturday, Oct. 16
Consumer Trends in Natural Beauty

This session explores consumer preferences and awareness of specific ingredients and claims, and how shoppers perceive "natural" and "organic" in personal care. It will also examine how stage of life and degree of "healthfulness" play into consumers' shopping choices when selecting personal care items.

O'Rourke is a University of California, Berkeley professor in environmental science, policy and management, and the founder of GoodGuide, which helps consumers find safe, healthy and green products.
